Normally, when you talk about liquid-cooled PCs, you're talking about four-foot-tall towers with plexiglass sides and strips of colored LED lighting. You know, super-expensive, over-the-top gaming PCs built by monied enthusiasts. This one is different.

Asetek's new all-in-one prototype is actually stuffed with a liquid cooling system itself, the first all-in-one to do so. What are the benefits of liquid cooling? Well, by chilling your components with cold liquid rather than fans, it helps computers run higher-powered components without the jet-engine sound that tons of fans provide.

So what you're getting is a computer that looks like an iMac that's stuffed with a 2.66GHz Core i7-920 and a GeForce GTX 280M video card. In English, you get the guts of a ludicrous gaming rig in the body of your mom's kitchen computer. Awesome.
