Unable to play BF4 or Hardline due to PB

Bot, what anti-virus do you use?
Do you have any third-party firewall programs?
 
Nope. I even disabled fire wall just to see. Added all the exceptions, inbound and out, all networks.
 
Well, I just tried a fix off EA's forums... completely fucked my windows, had to do a system restore to 2 weeks ago in order for it to work again...
 
My next suggestion would be to reformat your OS then try the game, could be an unrelated app in the background halting your PB service.
 
If at all possible I would really like to not reformat. I don't even have my USB with windows 8.1 on it with me here in Lejeune.

Maybe later down the road I will if nothing else seems to pop up.

Well, it still seems like pbuster is not running on your machine. You have to have PB A and PB B showing in your process tree...if they are running make sure they are running as admin .

That's what I was trying to tell you before...you have to make sure both have admin rights to run so they stay running and you don't get kicked. Make sure you anti-virus isn't interfering with PB if you're using one. This is just a PB problem that you need to fix.
 
They are both set to run as administrator. They both launch, but when I get in game, Punkbuster B closes. Causing the error.

I have disabled firewall just as a precaution, otherwise, no anti virus.
 
I uninstalled remnants of PB A and B, including two instances Punkbuster B from C:\Windows\SysWOW64\

He had UAC on, but not to the fullest extent. I completely disabled his UAC.

His Firewall is back on.

Uninstalled all of his ASRock utilities, especially his LAN monitor, and other crap that ASRock bundles with their motherboard software utilities.

Re-installed both Punkbuster A and B. He has been in game now over 10 minutes.

I should note that I had to do a few restarts, but he is all set now.
 
I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first when he asked for my phone number and to add him on Skype, then to remote desktop my computer...
