Ok guys, so I am thinking about picking up one of these guys on my way home from work today. I've been an nvidia guy forever, but the 7950 is very tempting.
MSI R7950 TF 3GD5/OC AMD Radeon HD 7950 Twin Frozr III Overclocked 3072MB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card R7950TF3GD5OC - Micro Center

My question is this: I'm running a sandy bride setup with a pci 2.0 slot. This card supports 3.0. How much performance am I missing out on by having an older mother board without 3.0?

Thanks!

Edit: According to this article I'm not going to see or suffer any real differences.

7950 on 2.0 if I remember correctly won't really be held back but its borderline. The real difference is on Crossfire. Crossfire 7950s are bottlenecked severely on 2.0 where on 3.0 x8 3.0 is the same bandwidth as x16 2.0

Thats what I figured, but I thought I'd double check. I picked up the card. It is pretty awesome.
