I forgot who showed me this game, but it's awesome.
If you like flying games, this is one you should check out. It's a WWII style airplane shooter, but on a massive scale. It's aerial combat with computer ground forces fighting it out for the battlespace.
The developers found the perfect balance between Flight sim and arcade fun. For those of who you like to get into the soup and shoot it out, this game does not leave you disappointed. I think it would be a lot more fun if you had a couple people in the same squad flying around with each other.
It has lots of different feautures such as customizing your own airplane with upgraded weapons, bombs, more powerful engines, decals, etc. You get bonus points (Gold Eagles) for playing the tutorials which helps you learn how the game works which you can cash in for XP.
For a free to play, it's a lot of fun, and Gold Eagles you get just for starting the game can be used when ever you want or saved for XP cash in for Planes you want to get later.
I think it's pretty addicting, the UI is really user friendly and takes you into a nostalgic hanger from WWII with the airplanes you own shining in sun. They also have a battle recorder to play back battles you have played in the past.
It's got full support for custom key mapping and joysticks so you can make it your own. For people who enjoy more realistic flight Sim game play, like DCS it has a realistic mode where you can control multiple systems of the aircraft just as you would in the cockpit of a real airplane. For those that just want to have some sweet dog fight action, and don't care about all the fancy stuff, it's got a simple mode, where you can just hop in and fly around. I think it's a lot of fun, and from all the flying games I've played this is definitely one worth mentioning.
