Was thinking about trying out this brand of monitor but I am unsure...

Benq is not a bad brand. Although i am unsure about their warranty and customer service.
 
BENQ is a well known maker of quality gaming monitors. Just do some research on the specific model and make sure its what you want. Regardless of the brand you really do get what you pay for when it comes to gaming monitors. I'll do a little research for you when I get home. What are you looking for in a monitor? (Price/size/refresh etc)

Also Asus has a similar one already. I believe @balls2dawall has one and @sixer9682 also. I'm pretty sure 3-4 members have the Asus ROG 144hz 1440p monitor that is like $700?

My monitor is losing pixels left and right. I need a 144 hz 24 to 27 inch monitor. Now that ati has free sync just like g sync for nvidia, I was thinking of going with one of those types of monitors.
 
Check out some youtube reviews! Benq has a pretty solid reputation for making good LCD panels for a long time now.
