I just got done filming most of my own video on assembling a computer and decided to check out what else was out there.

So yeah his advice is to put it on evenly and then proceeds to kill the motherboard while showing the stock cooler.

I've bent blade cards for foundry/brocade switches farther than he did and have them still work. You be suprised how much abuse circuit boards can take.

Oh I remember not having half the stand off's in my pentium 1 and constantly flexing the crap out of the board. But you dont want to do it on purpose. A bit of backwards flex is all it would take to break a trace on some of these modern boards. But when back to normal position it would still work. Question is do you mind the increase in resistance on what might be a lane for the pci express or memory?
