So I get into work this morning and Sgt tells me and my partner to go out and collar some shit bird with 3 outstanding warrants for various dumb stuff he's done over the past few months. We show up at his last known and the dude's girl answers and says she hasnt seen him in a few weeks, telling us he 's "away on business". Like come on guy, we don't have the patience to be given the run around today. My partner then gets the bright idea to call the dude up saying we found a wallet with his name attached that had cash/cards in it, and that he has to pick it up at the precinct. I thought it was the stupidest idea ever but he insisted he's read about it working online. Fast forward a few hours we call the jabroni up and says he'll be right over. Low and behold who comes walking in the door 30 minutes later? None other than that stupid bird brain. Like how would we find a wallet with your name on it if you still have yours? I just had to share this with someone while I finish up the paperwork and figured you goons could use the laughs. Like I said before, we don't catch the smart ones.

That's about as good as Florida's tried and true, for like 2 decades, placing an ad in the newspaper and now various social media sites saying a mom and her 13yo daughter want to have sex with you...just show up. You'd be amazed at the number of guys that show up with all kind of props only to promptly get arrested.

Another good one to catch women shit bags is that are avoiding you, call them up, tell them to come in to sign papers, so they start getting child support payments.. works 95% of the time haha

LOL. I like to think i'm one of the smart ones but then again I've been busted before but not for falling for a ploy like that. Hell even the municipal court kalls and says we have a warrant for you arrest for not paying citations and my response is always OK i'll be right down to pay it but the BF3 maps server always stops me from paying my fine as i'm saving for as new rig. hehe...

So my brother is in a different field, repossessions. We live near an indian reservation, and it is dam near impossible to repo from off the res. requires the person to give up the car, an escort from tribe pd, and an ok from the tribe to do it... never gonna happen.
Our trick was to call and say we had a 2 large pizzas for them if they got there in 30 minutes. sure enough, 9 times out of ten we got em. next day we would spot the manager for keeping them busy while we got the car. has only have a 25% success rate with people that dont live on the res. I guess cause they think it will never get repo'd, never to worry about it. big problem with them buying a car here and never making a payment...
