Bao Xishun can once again stand tall and proud to be the ?World?s Tallest Man? after a taller Ukrainian refused to be measured.
Guinness World Records has taken the title of world?s tallest man away from Leonid Stadnyk because he has continually refused to be measured in accordance with the publication?s guidelines. The title now reverts back to China?s Bao Xishun, who stands at 7ft 8.95ins. Stadnyk stands 8ft 5.5ins tall.
A young shop worker from Lauderhill, Florida believes he?s set to create the world?s largest rubber band ball. Joel Waul, 27, has created an 8,200lb rubber band ball in the driveway of his home. The ball is so large that he can easily stand on it. Waul?s ball already is made up of more than 300,000 bands of different sizes and he plans on adding 2,000lb more once the material is delivered to his home.
Artist Andy Saunders teamed up with VW parts and accessory company Just Kampers to create the ?Vancake? the world?s lowest Volkswagen Bus!
The 3-foot (1 meter) tall VW Bus entitled ?Vancake? that?s fully road legal was created by Saunders and his team in just three days. Apart from lowering the roof the team also applied a custom paint job and an electric sunroof.
When their owners handed over two fox terriers named Bert and Ernie because they could no longer care for them, the SPCA was astonished to see the fat dogs: Bert (pictured below) weighed 32 kg (71 lb) and Ernie weighed 44 kg (lb)! SPCA manager Tracy Dunn said the team were speechless when they saw how overweight the dogs were. She said the SPCA often sees malnourished and underweight dogs and cats, so it was unusual to have two very overweight dogs handed in at once.
Dunn said animal obesity is becoming a major problem in New Zealand. ?The nation?s overweight people are in turn overfeeding and supersizing their pets.?

Bucharest attempted a new world record Saturday with a 392-metre (1,286-foot) smoked sausage that took two weeks to prepare and weighs a hefty 150 kilogrammes (330 pounds). About 20 people worked on the giant wors, commissioned by the city of Bucharest and presented Saturday during local holiday festivities, Realitatea TV television reported.
Two hundred metres longer than the previous record holder from Poland, according to local media, the sausage was to be later grilled and served to residents. A representative of the Guinness Book of World Records was also on hand to witness the record attempt.

In a bizarre publicity stunt, Dr Wei Sheng pierced the decorative needles in his head, face, hands and chest in the five colours of the Olympic rings. Molly is a gray speckled pony who was abandoned by her owners when Katrina hit southern Louisiana, USA . She spent weeks on her own before finally being rescued and taken to a farm where abandoned animals were stockpiled.

A dolphin badly injured in a shark attack has been escorted by a mate into the care of human hands. Nari sustained a hideous wound across his head and back, and when he went missing, wildlife experts feared he had died.
The 12-year-old dolphin failed to turn up for his ritual feeding off the coast of Queensland - but so did his older companion Echo. But after three days the pair turned up with the rest of the group. Mr Trevor Long, a dolphin expert from Sea World on the Gold Coast, said: ?We didn?t see Nari again until the third day, when he turned up with Echo at his side.
