What did you buy on Black Friday?

  • $90 worth of groceries.
  • Dinner for me.
  • One movie ticket for "Red Dawn" (fun; not as good as the original of course)

I so need a 3TB drive for 90 bucks lol. I was looking at the 2 TB 7200 they had for like 69 or whatever. Fuck me dude how did i miss that. I so would have not paid my car insurance to get that lol.
 
^ keep checking. The deal went up on Wednesday, and it sold out in about 3-4 hours. It was up again yesterday for the first time. Maybe it'll be up over the weekend or Monday when they restock again...

They do have 2TB for $70, but it makes more sense to get 3TB for $90 if you need the space ;-) .
 
Yeah sadly I am a little broker than I am supposed to be this check but a 3TB for 90 is killer right now. I still have no SATA ports available but being larger than any drive I have I will just keep one on the esata dock lol.

Well I did buy something though. An RDP app for Android called Jump Desktop. The free version of pocket cloud is killing me and its 15 bucks. Just today I needed to RDP to the TS3 server and ended up having to TeamView to my desktop to RDP over. Jump was 50% off at 4.99 No more using 2 RDP apps (I had 2x installed but not configured).

Not weird at all, critics are self important twats. Fan "like" aggregate on RT is the only legitimate movie reviewing out there. If I'm in the mood for a good shoot em up action movie I don't want some pompous art critic bitching about a shoddy plot and well worn dialogue, I want to know what other people who wanted to see a shoot em up action movie thought of it since their expectations are likely the same as mine.

PS I got an 11.5 hour work day for black friday, which actually was kind of nice.

As of now, I have 8 of the ST3000DM001 3Tb drives, which will give me 12 full Tb of storage(RAID). Ill show ya the pics when I install it on on wednesday.

I drove my wife, our new Danish exchange student and a French exchange student an hour and a half to Indianapolis arriving at 0530. That way, the Danish girl could buy bras and panties at a substantial discount at Victoria's Secret. My wife and I picked up presents for my son, his girlfriend and our former exchange students. Yes, the excitement of the morning was overwhelming for me, glad I had my Nexus 7 tablet I got for my birthday (the new 32GB one!).
