what is a good recording software for in game?

what do you guys use to record in game ? I have fraps but it is limited unless you purchase the full version. What else is out there and what works best for bf3?

PlayClaw if it works fir you is awesome. But i use fraps i paid for it and claw dont work for me. Slapshots has a thread i moved to private there is a fraps 3.5.4 link in there.

MSI afterburner has a free capture utility but I've never liked the results

There is also xfire, but no idea how that works

Get the full version of Fraps. Worth the $. It's the single best program out there.

There is fraps and another one that works better IMO, but I just can't get the name of it to come to me. There is also CamStudio, which is for recording say tutorials; not sure how well it would work for game recording; worth checking out I think. If I can remember the name of the other software, I will let you know. Unless someone else pops up with it first.

Here are a couple of programs I know that can be used to stream live feeds. Not sure what their capabilities are for recording though.

Worth checking them out I think, they might do exactly what you are looking for. ^_^
