That guys was too slow.. should have had the weapon out after he sliced the guy at the door

My instructor in my Concealed Carry class told us that if you don't sleep with your weapon under your pillow and loaded you may as well not even have one. Now I am not so naive to realize this is not true in every case but since I heard this I sleep with my 9mm under my pillow always. When I wake up from a noise or have a weird dream then I place my hand on it and sleep like a baby. After all, if I broke into someone's house at night I would try not to make any noise of course and make my first stop at the master bedroom and take out any possible threats there first. That's if I was a killer ( which I'm not ). If I woke up in the night and saw someone in my room ( I live alone ), I feel sorry for that guy.
