AMD R9 290x Reviews (NDA Lifted)

Remember the GTX 780 TI gets announced in about 3 weeks. I would hold any purchasing decision till then if your in the market for a new card personally.

yeah and it will cost 700 bucks!

Maybe not with AMD offering a performance card for $100 less than Nvidia's 780s. I'd at least wait and see what their pricing point is like before making a decision. The holidays are right around the corner and all this shit will be at sale at one point or another though probably not huge discounts, every bit helps.

True enough. But I'm getting impatient....

Then again, the 800? series are being announced in February, supposedly... with some pretty odd architectural changes, like APU on board or something like that from what I remember. But yeah, if you want to spend $800 on something maybe better, the 780Ti will be it. I'm guessing all shaderZ unlocked and $800, price cut on Titan for same price or phased out maybe?

^ didn't Maxwell get delayed till 2h 2014?
