Hey guys whats up!!!! Im looking for some ideas about my monitor and wanted to make choices between brands and performance if any ... I just bought a nice Viewsonic VX2739wm 27" thinkin that this may be my last part on my build but as always when youre loooking for a monitor you see something cool lol so i found that Acer is making 27 inches monitors as well and of course i like that neat Acer 27" LED Backlight...
Now i have no idea what to do and how that Acer monitor will perform so please help me with comments and ideas....thx in advance...

Acer @ newegg.com Newegg.com - Acer S273HLbmii Black 27" 1920x1080 2ms Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor Slim Design w/Speaker 300 cd/m2 ACM 12,000,000:1
Viewsonic @ newegg Newegg.com - ViewSonic X Series VX2739WM 27" 1ms HDMI Full HD 1080p Widescreen LCD Monitor w/ 4 port USB-hub300 cd/m2 DC 100,000:1(1200:1) Built-in Speakers

Stay away from Acer, they don't make good monitors. I have 2 22" ones from Acer and after about 6 months the colors started fading. My dell monitor doesn't have that issue.

I highly recommend the Viewsonic. I have that exact size from them only 5 or so years older now. Great picture even though max resolution is 1366 x 768. Which is the native resolution so I don't want to go above that anyways. I believe the one your looking at is a newer and better version of the one I have. Picture and model of the one I have.

Ya viewsonic is great. I've been using the same one for a little over 4 years now with no problems. It's a 3235 LCD. I like the size and it makes head shot's easy. Thay no longer carry this model :)

Acer sucks. I recommend ASUS and LG, which is funny because LG manufactures the displays for ASUS...

I'm waiting for the 27" 120hz displays to become available. I'm using a 22" 120hz one now and can't go back to a 60hz monitor. There is an enormous difference in the quality, clarity, and sharpness of the 120hz monitors that makes going back to anything less impossible.

That said, I'd go with the Viewsonic one also.

Thanks everyone i decided to keep my Viewsonic and seems that many of you agree with me...sincerely i thought the same about Acer and its monitors so i will try for the first time a Viewsonic lol...as Sixer said maybe a 120Hz monitor would be great but i wanted a bigger screen to play so i was looking around and found this one...hmm i got a little pic of my decent system with that monitor..check it but dont laugh at it hehehe im not in my best time to invest in hard core parts but soon i may change for a better performance computer...check it out :P
