i havent tried multi monitors like that but i run a 42" sony at 1920x1080 for my main and i run a 20" acer at 1680x1050 for random programs such as vent
Up to 34-37", it's comfortable from sitting at a desk (WITH antialiasing - it's annoying otherwise). Higher than 37" the dots become too large for my liking.
I prefer the 3x1 setup. 5040x1050 means tiny dots and lots of pixels, 5.3 million at that.
Also it lets you tilt the outsides some so you feel like a more panoramic view. I just have to get the hydra vision set back up so windows down maximize across all 3 :-0.
