So far this thing is incredible. Absolutely beautiful picture. Crisp details. Games and movies are superb. Highly recommend this if your looking to upgrade.
My last 27" monitor from Viewsonic was great too and will be a good monitor for another set up. However the largest resolution for the Viewsonic was
only 1366 x 768. Newegg has a pretty good deal on it now too for those interested.

Good price. But i think I am still grabbing the 27 inch samsung with the atsc tuner. Caps be damned ill replace them when they blow.

Yeah I hear ya. Replaced a dozen or so in the Viewsonic over the years.

I use an Asus monitor also Bob....for about 2 yrs or so...VW222...the color is unmatched...just switched to Win7 and of course it doesnt support my monitor but i force fed the ICM file into the O/s and this monitor even works better than it did with XP.
The hi-def is incredibly sharp...the colors so full and very pastel. Asus defintely make an outstanding monitor. You picked a winner!!! Highly recommend Asus monitors to anyone who is thinking of an upgrade.
