A much better upgrade from my crappy dell that i have been using for 4 years now

Core2Duo E6600 2.4gz
2 gigs of kingston ram 533 mhz
256MB 7900 GS
don't even know the rest of my specs. About time i guess.

Got amazing deals for every component from Tigerdirect's store manager. Got extended warranty and future free upgrade such as my vid card. I should be set now. Will be gaming with you guys in a few days :)

Im also getting those jackasses from Dell to replace my blown parts. Still got warranty till Oct of this yr so why the hell not. Its a bitch to replace anything from them. They will ask you to do so much shit over the phone, put you on hold deliberately to consult their supervisior before they will send a technician over.

Lets hope their "extended warranty" is worth a damn. Most places sell it to you and don't honor it. You have to read the fine print.

its written down on paper. My build information :) I always make sure its written.

i have done business with tiger direct for a few years and they have always been a good company that holds up its end. Seems like a Nice set up should be very fast compared to your old one.

lol balls. Just as much as it costs to get a quick BJ from Jamie HAHAHAHAH

I think everyone likes air cooled ;) Even got my zipper usually undone so air can always flow...you know :)

LOL ok sorry. (should have keep that one to myself ) ;p But come on thats one nice case :)

looks good but...

honestly.. i would ditch the ultra power supply myself.. i dont care if they gave it to me for free... and with all the techheads in here i am surprised nobody else has said anything about it.. ultra sucks .. point blank.. and with all the nice stuff you are getting.. give it some nice juice to run it.. my best analogy would be like using mexican gasoline to run a race car... and anyone who has gotten gas in mexico would know exactly what i mean...

cheeze out

Hey Fast want to buy this from me? Since I got a 950W today, I can sell it to you. With the increased efficiency, it should be as good as the ultra shit you're buying (as far as wattage) and possibly quieter/cleaner/more reliable power? I don't know anything about the Ultra.

Not dusty at all (I blew it out with compressed air) and 100% working fine.

$90 + whatever shipping is?

Picked everything up at Tiger as well. They have a outlet just down the road. They only thing they didn't have was the HD I wanted. What drive did you get? Wife is picking up a 1TB WD Black drive tomorrow but I'm looking to get an Intel SSD in the next few months. I really hope I'll like the 5870 since I've always had Nvidia.

Cost is a little more than initially planned but oh well!

damn fasty whoever was offering to sell you that corsair psu was tryiing to hook u up !!! corsair modular 620w? sweet .. i would send the ultra back if i were you.. but if you are okay with it its all good... ever had to deal w/ a bad psu though?? biggest headache ever cuz all ur shit starts going bad before u figure out that its ur psu.. sounds nice though.. see u in bc2..

here is a quick snippet of a review on OCC for the ultra 650x4 ..

"The Ultra X4 650W power supply performed well in some areas, but performed poorly in others. The DC voltage load regulation is on a par with many high end power supplies but the noise/ripple levels are in excess of the limits laid down by the ATX12V V2.2 specification which makes this power supply hard to recommend to the overclocking community. The failure to meet its claimed 80 Plus certification following the OCC testing methodology, excessive noise/ripple on the main DC rails, and lack of technical information make this power supply more suitable for the mainstream market.

The lack of a feature list is very unusual because it's probably the first thing any informed computer enthusiast needs to quickly ascertain its suitability for the next build or upgrade. If Ultra Products are aiming for the high end enthusiast market then improvements are needed if it is going to compete with the likes of Corsair, PC Power & Cooling and Thermaltake."

i spoke to many in the store when i purchased, they said it is reliable. I was also on a budget my first choice was OCZ. I've had a shitty dell unknown brand P.S. and that bugger lasted me a while.
