Error #1 Diablo 3 install

I bought D3 to give it a test on my current pc (If it didn't work then it doesn't matter as I'm saving for a new pc)

But the problem is everytime I run the setup, it goes to update the set up but gets stuck and gives me this error

There's a lot more so just ask if you need anymore to see what is happening . I've tried all the internet ideas and nothing has worked. Also note that I don't think i have a program conflict as this line:

Is unknown. Whether other people's errors have a program in the brackets any ideas?

Unless its a known issue all of the information is really only usable (to me) if I had a debugger running on your machine when it occured. Preferably the source to the application. Dumps like that are mean't for the games coders when tracking down issues they can not reproduce otherwise.

So hopefully someone has seen the issue, knows a fix.

I dunno can you read Intel x86 Asm? Pretty much a requirement for debugging a running program without the source. I have never been good with a debugger. But I have friends who can reverse engineer applications just watching them work lol.

Tells you the values in each register. If input values or a result from a computation resulted in an invalid value triggering an exception which unhandled caused the application to crash rather than generate a useful error... well that would almost be some useful information lol. But its still not that simple. I should have gone to school You still need to know what was going on in the code to pinpoint the problem and even determine if you can work around it or are screwed until the code is patched.

Haha yeah I'm lost with this stuff. spoke to my dad but as usual was as helpful as a turd because of how he is haha. I think I'll ping it over to Blizzard and see what they say, although if they knew I guess I wouldn't be having this problem

Try running the installation as administrator. It might be having an issue updating the launcher because it doesnt have rights. Otherwise, utilize the Diablo 3 forums. There's LOTS of people playing D3, and almost every error out there has happened to thousands of others before you. Tons of great info on there. Worst comes to worse, you can talk to Blizzard through their support chat.

tried running in admin and nothing.. Searched my problem and quite a few people have it with the actual updated (WoW players get the same error too!) But no one as a fix. I've emailed blizzard to see what they say.

It isnt the end of the world as I just wanted the game for the future anyway. Just would have been nice if it worked now

Yeah I only have download Don't have a disc copy. I heard people are getting the same problem digital or disk as it still tries to update the setup
