I got my 580 for my main graphics and am using my 260 for physx. While playing Arkum Aslyum I dont notice any GPU usage for physx. I have it selected in the control panel for nvida but still nothing. Anyone got any thoughts?

You have the 260 selected as the Physx Device correct? I'm assuming you have up to date drivers installed for both cards, but other than that I don't know what else to tell you-it should work.

Correct. I think I just found the answer some one wrote this at overclock.net

"For a high-performance setup, such as a GTX 295, a dedicated PhysX card will more-than-likely not give you any gains. The GTX 295 would more-than-likely handle all the load that the game and throw at it, and having a dedicated card for PhysX would probably just be a waste of power. The same can be said for a GTX 285 SLI configurations, and so on and so forth. "

Ill probably just sell this 260 then and have my 580 run the physx and graphics.

Heh, that sounds like the better bet for sure. I guess it doesn't make much difference with the beast you're running now.

It should still show some load on the 260 when Physx is running properly. But really, you don't need physx. It is a total gimmick to sell more cards. Only a small percentage of games use it at all, and even a smaller percentage of those games use it WELL.

Sell me the 260 for $50 and move on. :p

I tired a 295 for my physics & it reduced my 3DMark scores by a 1000points + I had a hell of a time setting it up. My OS always wanted to use my 295 for the main graphics card for some reason. By installing the driver, reboot, disable in device manager, reboot, install drivers for 580, reboot, and then enable 295 + select as physics. 2hrs of finding out it doesn't help EPIC FAIL.
