Soldier, you're absolutely right - this is #2 for me. I got married at 20, was bitter and wanted to kill her by 24, and divorced at 25. I don't recommend marriage to anyone under 25 - you have to go out and get "experience" (and yes, I do mean fuck as many women as possible). Otherwise, you're doomed.
