I picked up one of these bad boys at Microcenter last week.
Amazon.com: Logitech G710+ Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Tactile High-Speed Keys - Black (920-003887): Computers & Accessories
So this is my first mechanical keyboard, and I am quite impressed. The cherry brown switches are fantastic. Enough noise (louder than my G110) but not annoying loud.
What I like:
Great feel and response from the keys.
The assuring clicking sound.
two stage backlit keyboard - (entire keyboard and seperate 3 stage for the wasd)
Wrist/hand rest thing is just the right size. Not annoyingly big, but does provide light support.
The Volume scroll wheel (same as on the G110)
The start key lock button
Cons: I haven't found any yet. I guess having to learn how to retype was a bit of a con. However, I am a much better typist already. I think I may have to get another one of these for work. I am now worse at typing when I am not on this keyboard anymore.
