What it says. I'm due for an upgrade, went off the idea of a Blackberry as soon as I saw one working. On this side of the great divide at least, iphones are mainly bought by people I like to call "cunts" and windows phones make me want to be sick... looking for advice really fellas.

I have heard great things about the One. I hear great things about the Moto X as well (don't know if that is available to you) as it is an almost stock android experience.
I personally think my Galaxy S4 is fantastic.

A friend of mine has the HTC one, I like it. I've played around with that phone a bit and I think it's a good one. I also like that it's not over 5", 4.7, I think. It can still fit in a pocket unlike some of the new ones like the new Note and LG's Optimus Pro.

Go with the Galaxy! Can't go wrong. I'm still on the S3 and love it. =D I honestly haven't liked HTC since I had the HD2 years ago.

isnt the blackberry like ultra hip on your little island?

Yeah! I liked the HD2 - other than the oldschool windows fake OS....

It was, for about five minutes until sanity broke out and people realized BB were incapable of bringing out a decent handset. Been and gone and now more and more people are turning into cunts (see OP).

I had the S3 for a week & cracked the screen sitting in a lawn chair drinking a beer. I gave it to my girlfriend and tried the HTC One, I've had since then. A good phone made with an aluminum body unlike the galaxy phones; it's a little more durable in my line of work. One major drawback is the non-removeable battery. The camera is amazing, has a IR transmitter for a universal remote, and I love the Zoe function for the camera. Zoe basically takes all the video & pictures and makes a highlight reel with effects and music. I would check out some new phones and see what they offer. In the world of technology a lot can change in 6 months.
