How do i make sure the video i'm putting together is in HI-def? I've tried the preview button and the music i added to it sounds really distorted, supposed to be like that any ideas?

I'm using windows maker for win 7

Any other programs you suggest let me know.

thankkkkkkkss

Do you have access to other software? I use Ulead most of the time, but I do own the master suite of CS4 with premiere so I'm thinking of switching to that.

Edit; with movie maker you click on the option arrow for sharing (arrow with line above it) then select 720p and whatever other options you want

yeah i know ULead. Totally forgot about that one. Is it ulead movie factory? Thanks

windows movie maker doesnt make true HD vids. they come out messed up if you try to make them. never used Ulead. but adobe premier is nice

I fiddled with adobe premiere elements lately and it's quite easy and fun to use.

i dont have cs5 i have cs4 but that function should change. yes you can in cs4, windows movie maker blows hard core. just a very sloppy tool. Ulead is much easyer then permiere but permiere is the shit.

i couldnt get my copy of ulead to work for some reason, ended up installind permiere. i am still working on the setup and exporting from it but i'll get it.

hint , get with bob, he has a working copy of ulead i helped him get and showed him some basics in it.

for cs5 i couldn't find an option to split the clip. Pretty advanced interface..grrr...

it looks like a razorblade in the tool palette, by default its on the right side

You need to try windows live movie maker, its fucking intuitive as hell and I'm starting to like it. Its no way near advanced like cs5 but it does the job and can easily publish to youtube. Give it a try its free.

Premiere is easy once you get used to it... just force yourself to look-up shit you don't know and it will be better in the long run :-)
