Here Comes the Storm...

Okay I know wind surfing is awesome, but why is that guy doing it balanced on that dudes head.

Bob, why were you in Lake Erie? LOL but yeah I went to hit some nice winds cause it was pretty gusty out. I had a ton of fun. Can't wait for it to pick up. Haha

Haven't really looked much. It seems my room despite being on the back of the house with windows is pretty well insulated as other parts of the house its obvious there is a storm and in here its not obvious.

I ran out to the truck to grab a battery and inverter in case the power goes out I saw a couple of people inspecting a house that the flashing around the top of the roof was coming off. The street didn't seem to have more of an inch of water but I am at one of the high points in this area.

Because I live on Lake Erie. I'm getting hammered with the winds here right now. Waves are smashing the dyke rocks and splashing my house. I don't have a beach any longer. Have never seen waves this big on Lake Erie...ever. I'm getting the brunt of the storm that is colliding with the hurricane. Feel sorry for you guys in PA and New York, New Jersey. Were getting every bit of those gusts to 65 right now. Have not seen this since Florida and hurricanes down there I was driving around in. If you ever get the idea to do that during a hurricane please don't take it from me.

What?! I didn't know you lived on the Lake, I practically piss in the lake everyday. Haha j/k I used to though. Lol I used to live on it. But yeah it's pretty mucky our here. The gusts got me going pretty quick on the board but I got thrown off a couple times going to fast and a wave would come from no where so I stopped. lol

7996 people in my town use connecticut light and power, 7969 people have no power. Coincidently those last few people equal the amount of houses on my street. Better than Irene where i had no power for 7 days.

half a million people without electricity in NYC, not bad.
