I have a little bit more finish work to do i.e, hole covers. Could be a number of different things or ways that this can be configured; I used Lexan(polycarbonate) on the sides; but, could have used a stainless or aluminum; there is some mesh I could have used. This also would be a good spot to do exteral watercooling(fans, radiators, or pumps). What I'm thinking is that cold air is taken in under my machine and the hot air is drawn out by the rear fan & top fans;

I have something similar, but mine is wood. raises the case about 14 inches of the ground. I recommend using something like this.

This one is 10" overall I have a tall case & had to move it away from my desk because my monitor was hitting it.
