Surprisingly, it seems like more cores really make a difference in games!
Keep in mind that these are average frame-rates. My guess is in those "heavy" moments where it makes a difference (and the framerate dips below 60 on two corse), having more cores would certainly help your frame rate stay at 60 or above.
6 seems to be an overkill, but it's definitely beneficial to have 4 cores it seems.
Kind of strange, seeing as those games generally don't load dual-cores to 100% as far as I know.
