My computer shuts down completely if I have it on all day.

And when I restart it shuts down as Windows is loading up the programs. Is it my watercooling screwing up? The inside is pretty well clean.

What software do you have installed? Include any keyboard / mouse drivers.

Since this started yesterday there no new software installs for the past two months. I have the Razer Imperator and Lycosa. Those weren't recently updated either. It's not a crash and restart thing. It's shutting down completely.

And I have trouble installing the SP1 for Win 7 since the update has been out.

They easy place to start checking is in your Windows Event logs. Check for any red exclamation marks under system and application logs.

All I see those two things that wouldn't install and this Product: Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable -- Error 1606.Could not access network location %APPDATA%\.

Turn the BSOD back on. You may only be seeing restarting or shutting off, but it could be because windows his hiding the BSOD from you.
advanced system settings> startup and recovery> uncheck restart on system crash

The c++ error might be associated with a corrupt video driver. I'd say that's the most likely problem from what you've described.

Right click 'My Computer" or "Computer" in the Start Menu
Select "Manage"
Click on Event Viewer then narrow down your search in Event Viewer to events in System and also Applications. Look for the Red circle with the "X" on them

My first guess is a PSU going south if not I'm thinking a stick of RAM. Let us know what errors you are seeing in Event Viewer first to narrow things down.

What have you recently done to your computer...... I doubt its your W/C unless its overheating and shutting down. Take some temp readings.
The readings are fine. Nothing to worry about at this second. But I'll check when it happens.

Did that earlier as suggested earlier in this thread.

I'll see. It tells me I have 8 GB but it says right next to it 7.5 GB readable.

As I said earlier it shuts off completely and does not restart. But I still unchecked it anyways.

Bah, you suck the FAT ONES not your internet! Anything to wash down the sand, I guess. :)

Erik, I do think I would check all the power supply connector pins. Make sure one of them is not shorting out.

Someone mentioned drivers, that is your next likely source, either roll back a driver or reinstall them.

And to another tip, don't leave your computer running all day.

Well I was planning on uninstalling and re-install the drivers anyways. I'm gonna check the power to see any brown-outs. I usually turn it off after 12 hours.

If supsect a hardware or driver issue, you also can systemically one by one, disable a componet in hardware and see if that is your culprit.

I'll do that when that happens. But I'll check the connectors first before it happens again.

I lowered my CPU down from 4.0 Ghz to 3.6 and underclocked my RAM speed from 2000 Mhz(Factory OC speed) to 1600 Mhz. So far no problems.

If there are no problems without the OC then I'd definitely say it's the PSU. You have a nice one if I recall correctly. Have you tested it, or are you just pushing it's power limits?

It's a BFG quad-rail 1400 watt one. As soon as BFG came out with a 1600 one. BFG stop making PSUs.

I OC'd the GPU and put the RAM at factory OC speed. It crashed and restarted so I defaulted the GPU and ran fine the last few months till this started happening. Then a few days ago I had the computer on for 16 hours and everything OC'd. It would shut-off completely. I would restart and it would shut-off again as it was loading up.

Win 7 says I have 8GB installed but 7.25GB readable.
