My internet speed was doubled... now only slower than 90% of the us

185 bucks a month gives me phone,cable and what they call "turbo" speed of 25mbps. I am certainly getting fucked! Welcome to the sticks.
 
Who's your provider nhnimrod? Is it TWC? If so, you might be able to switch to spectrum which now has a minimum speed of 100/10 in Maine. I guess Comcast will be here in the next 3-4 weeks too.

TWC became Spectrum here and my speed stayed the same ! :mad:
 
you have to make the actual switch though. IF you stay on TWC billing / equipment it will stay the same. i had to go there to the office and actually switch it lol.
