130-170 you can get what you are looking for I am sure
170 bucks for a cheapo plus sized mid tower is ridiculous. 100 bucks flat for a case that would literally cost 15 bucks more to manufacture and people would eat up like hot cakes. Now much larger cases require much stronger construction there is a point beyond this a quality case brings the price. But im talking about old Thermaltake designs here not Corsair and whoever actually makes Corsairs cases. Also talking internet prices not MSRP since you usually get something a bit under suggested.
My Case is 19.30" x 8.50" x 18.90" its a mid tower. Retailed around 75 with an MSRP of 99 picked it up for 50.
The Corsair 600T 10 bucks more is a mid tower at 20" (H) x 23.3" (L) x 10.4" (W). Mainly due to height.
A cheapo example case might be the Tt Chaser MK 1 which is 22.9" x 9.3" x 22.4". But the only premium part of the case is the drive trays which you will find on the better cases in this price range. It is very much like my midtower. Has about the same amount of Acrylic, twice as much mesh on the top and one less drive dock (a premium component if you ask me). Physically its cheap.
The Corsair 600T is well built case worth every penny of the 169 bucks they ask. The only reason the Thermaltake is worth over 100 bucks is the drive trays. Newer models of the Chaser series retail for a reasonable 130 bucks with this feature. Please give me a stamped steel drive bay and call it 100 bucks lol.
The CM 932 HAF also fits into the Thermaltakes small dimensions at 22.70" x 9.00" x 21.50" and like the Corsair worth every penny. I have a beef with this design though. The alternate fan holes on the door drive me nuts!
I also have a new prerequisite when case shopping. Sata dock. Need atleast 1 and that narrows the market and means I can't bitch about price... ironic
