Well since so many of you (*glares at fast, meat, and renno) have been bitching about my microphone sounding like shit, I decided its time to get another one.
I'm lookin for something that is comfortable, has awesome bass with a good full sound for primarily gaming, secondary movies and such. It has to be good at being able to accurately find targets in FPS games by sound. Music isnt a huge issue. I'm not an audiophile so I won't notice the little things. Also would prefer it to have a connection that allows you to switch between usb(included soundcard) and the normal soundcard audio jack.
The research I've done so far just shows me people are all over the board on some of these headsets. Lots of completely opposing reviews. I've been mainly looking at Sennheisers, plantronics, logitech, steel series, and even turtle beach.
Oh and i guess id be willing to spend $130 if theyre epic, but would like to keep it around 80 if the headset is a good all around value.
