Star Wars: Squadrons is live tonight!

got to play a couple hours.. struggled with the controls on using keyboard and mouse. so i decided to only use keyboard and it a lot better.
 
really....only 5 on 5......that sucks...."these are not the game play modes i am looking for".....i wanted massive 64 player battles with maybe people even controller destroyers....shit push it up to a 128 players with ping limits and lets invade whole planets.....they could have made it like rush where you had to invade the defense line in space and then fight your way to the surface of the planet....but no we got shitty 5 on 5 matches even when they did "fleet battles"......fleet battles??? its like the local plumbers are out in force....oh wait my bad the local plumber has 12 trucks and even his fleet is bigger!!!.....


i am pissed because this could have been so much more....

putting faith in EA now is disturbing
 
yeah it could be.. but for 40 bucks.. its fine.

They never said it would be anything else. It's not like they lied or hid the facts of the game. It's a great call back to the tie fighter and x wing games.

Xbox, ps4 controller or joystick will make a world of difference.
 
I myself like it. To be honest 5v5 and doing the missions of destroying star destroyer it actually a pretty long fight. The tides can turn when you think your winning

no i get that but it seems like they missed what it could have been to make something cheap and fast.....ever since seeing the movies as a kid i always wanted a game that could match the feel of the movies and attacking something as big as a star destroyer with a tiny X wing squad....and as someone that played the old tie fighter and X wing games it feels like they are just doing fan service without pushing the game along to a high level that matches what the hardware and internet can do now.....
