Well, first off, you don't need a HDD cooler. You don't need a 750W PSU either. I would suggest getting a 550-600W PSU.

Pilot-why wast money on the cpu? Microcenter has the same one for $199.00

For the CPU cooler the Prolimatech Megahelems kicks ass-it's the coolest for I7 cpus especially if you do any overclocking. http://www.crazypc.com/products/prolimatech-megahalem-508600.html

For the HD cooler, this one does a great job and is very quiet. Hell I've got an extra one at home I can send you for free. He might not need one in CA but they came in handy as hell in Florida.

is there a 600w power supply with 4x6pin pcie power thingys? each 260 needs 2 6 pin connectors

Six, the problem with the cpu is shipping and customs, it will cost about the same, if not more after shipping, i would also like to get things mostly from newegg if i can to simplify shipping and my ordering.

will the prolimatech megahalem fit?

hmm i will definitly have to think about that six, will loss of power fry stuff? or just surges?

Pilot-I lost a motherboard that way; power loss, and I was lucky that was all that fried. The whole system could have gone. You never know, so why take the risk. Back it up before you burn it up. Don't waste your money, time, and effort and lose it all because you didn't get a UPS of some sort. Brownouts are typically drops in voltage noticed as a quick loss or dimming of power. This reduced voltage, or incorrectly phased power can short you MB, PSU, damage or fry your CPU, video card, RAM, you name it-and let's not even talk about the monitors.

Either way, do yourself a favor and invest in a good UPS.

BTW, if the I7 setup is too costly you can get a great performing system with the I5 for less money.

i want to have this thing for a few years, i will go with the i7 and just the one 260, if i have some money left over later i will buy the second 260

Good idea. You can always add another video card and the DX11s will be available next year at better prices, but not anytime soon.

Let me know if you want me or Chuck to pick up that I7920 from Microcenter. We'd ship it right to you, and it'd still be at least $90.00 cheaper than Newegg in CA.

may take you up on that offer six, but probably not this year, i still haven't started work and want at least one paycheck before taking out a loan (not a fan of doing that either, but i need a pc dammit)

switch out the air cooling for this

i just got it and its sweet. i7 860. VERY quit and it has very good reviews. i cant find it on newegg. i got it off the shelf at best buy.

about a 10min setup including unpacking. its a great sealed, self contained water cooler. im in love with it. i can post pics and possibly a vid of it running on my desk.

The UPS looks good power-wise; I haven't used or read about that company's products but that would work nicely otherwise. Just try to do a little research of reviews, if any, before you buy.
