Its the truth. Benches show the phenom x6 is actual compeition for bulldozer. They have ex amd engineers running around talking about why this happened and how it could have been better.

PC mark Vantage has the New AMD stuff scored in the top 10 in CPU's. SO I think some of the initial reviews might be a little skewed.

Willis said he is definitely interested in the next round of releases at the end of this year so hopefully theyre even better by then. I personally had not even looked into the changes as I am focused on Poison Ivy Bridge lol.

But if anything alot of the initial reviews are consistant. I learned something about video encoding for sure. h.264 encoders first pass doesnt take advantage of high core count or HT but second pass does on just about any cpu especially bulldozer.
