BFG Tech Sending Out RMA Denial Letters: Winding Down Business | Hardware Canucks

"It looks like BFG has finally received the final nail within its coffin and is officially “….winding down and liquidating its business” in their own words. Some of their customers who have recently sent in BFG video cards for RMA have begun receiving the following letter from BFG:

BFG Technologies Inc. is in the process of winding down and liquidating its business. Unfortunately, our major supplier would not support our business. As a result, we are returning your graphics card without being able to repair it. We apologize for the inconvenience."

we apologize for the inconvenience wtf if something they made broke and i paid 400 bucks for it i would be on their doorstep with a lawyer

On their doorstep for 400 bucks? Suck it up. A lawyer costs one hell of a lot more than 400 bucks. Maybe small claims court if you're really lucky, but I doubt any judge is going to hear such a measly case, much less any law firm take up your banner. They've been going out of business for a while and anyone who bought their cards KNOWING that they were going out of business is an idiot. Sorry, but its true. You can't sue someone who is out of business. They are out of business! They are a limited liability company so there really is nothing you can do if they are gone. Do people really not understand how the law works? That's why I've been buying from a company (EVGA) who is expanding and growing, not slowly dying. Makes sense to me. Can't support your product if they don't exist. As my favorite lawyer, Bill Handel, would say, "You have absolutely no case."

Discounted RMA, ffs It should be fo FREE!! that shits unfo' givable lol...
