I pretty much built this for BF4 so hopefully I'll like it. So far it seems great. The only thing not shown is the Asus Xonar Essence SXT because I ordered the ST which is PCI not PCI-E. I have the right one in now but didn't take any pictures. It's running BF4 smooth as hell with Ultra presets. Now if I could just get better at the game everything would be great.

i7-4770K (no OC yet)
Asus Sabertooth Z87
16 GB Corsair Vengeance
Samsung 840 Pro 256GB
CoolerMaster HAF Full Tower
EVGA GTX 770
Corsair HX 850W
LG BluRay Reader/Writer

Nice and clean. Just the way I like it.

Fell free to send me your old shit :)

Looking good! I love those Asus Sabertooth Motherboards. I sadly couldn't spring for one this time around, but I will next time.

Very nice rig! HAF 932 represent! How is that Corsair H100i? I've been really curious about it.

I can't speak for the OP but after running mine the last 5 or so months I have been nothing but happy. The fan speed controls are great and I have mine set to performance mode and never get over 65c running prime95 at 4.5 ghz.

It's a solid build. Just watch out for the HAF case tends to get dusty quickly.

Water loop wasn't custom and didn't go through the video card = not pro enough for me. :-P

That mobo looks like it cost an imperial short fuckwad of money though.

Actually, my son is getting old enough now that he wanted a better computer. So he's now running:

i7 920 (OC'ed to 4 GHz)
2x EVGA 560 Ti's in SLI
Asus P6T Deluxe V2 MB
Corsair 850W PS
OCZ Agility 3 180GB SSD
2x WD 640GB HD's in RAID 5
12 GB Corsair Dominator

Though I'm thinking that might be a little overkill for Roblox.

I haven't done any stress tests but at idle it's 27C and while playing BF4 it goes to 34C. Installation is pretty straight forward once you realize that the screws on the backplate actually move to accommodate the 1150 socket. It only took my about 45 minutes to figure it out. I was reading the NewEgg reviews and people were saying that it had the wrong backplate. It turns out those people are idiots. I was only one for about 45 minutes :)

FUCK! Ass! Man, i really shouldnt look at these comporno threads!!!! Major cock tease for me! cant fucking wait to build my machine!

So what was the total? $

Around $2400. I could have saved a few bucks but I tend to keep my machines for a few years so I like to spend the money upfront. My last machine lasted over 4 years with upgrades to the videocards, a SSD, and more memory.

I need your case . You have a very nice rig . Mine on the other hand... well.. i have great stuff, buts its a rats nest . I need a bigger case

I learned my lesson with a mid-Tower case the last time. My old machine I had a CoolerMaster Storm Scout, which is a beautiful case, but way too small. I initially had to take out the harddrive cage to fit the 2nd video card. Then when one of the fans failed on the video cards I bought the Arctic Accelero Coolers ( ARCTIC Accelero Twin Turbo II VGA Cooler - Newegg.com ) which double the width of the card. I couldn't fit both cards in the case anymore so I had to take one of the Arctic coolers off just to fit both back in.

My problem is no one makes a practical case at a practical price. Looking at a good Mid Tower I would say you might want to add a half inch of depth, a couple inches in length and maybe 4 inches of height (2 below the board and 2 above) and that would make it a much much better case for most gamers. Companies do make "full towers" in this exact specification. But the price is double that of a comparable mid tower. I usually pay 50 to 75 bucks for a mid tower case. Id love to find one of these cheapo models of the described specification at say 100 bucks.

I guess its stupid to nitpick 30 bucks over my goal. But on my budget it can mean waiting 2 weeks to order and thats just too long for my trigger finger. When i think of a full tower I think of a bigger case than the described which i don't desire too much and I also think of a 200 dollar price tag.
