Time to pack it up, boys and girls.
Prince, and at one point, the Artist Formerly Known as Prince, is one of the greatest musical artists of our time. In fact, he was ranked at 28<sup>th</sup> in Rolling Stones' list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
This immensely talented man doesn't have much love for the internet, computers or other digital gadgets, though.
In an interview with UK paper the Mirror, which he is doing an album promotion with, Prince said that his new album will be released only on CD – no internet downloads through iTunes, Amazon, or any other form digital distribution, direct or not.
Prince is even against having his music play on YouTube and he has even shut down his official website. The artist explains that he doesn’t see any future in the internet.

"The internet's completely over. I don't see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won't pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can't get it.
"The internet's like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good.
"They just fill your head with numbers and that can't be good for you."
