So I was at Oshkosh Saturday night and some guy by the name George Lucas showed up to introduce a movie for us at the fly in theater (big outdoor inflatable theater). well this George Lucas guy decided to debut a trailer for his new movie called red tails. Red tails is based on the true story of the Tuskegee airmen, the all black fighter/escort unit in WWII.

anyway you will find the trailer embedded below, but Mr George Lucas also announced that he is working on a 3d version of Star Wars.

Next year's TBG get together at EAA airventure 2012? We can have a big circus tent with a huge LAN party, and kegs full of good beer. You poor fools have no idea what you missed... oh and i met druinfly

Terrence Howard who is Col. A.J. Bullard in "red tails" was in "hart's war" as Lt. Lincoln A. Scott and was a red tail pilot as well.

Terrance Howard, Gerald McRaney, Cuba Gooding, and lots of WW2 planes? Hell yes, I'll be seeing this one! But where is Don Cheadle? He is the replacement Terrance Howard.

I've been to Tuskeegee a few times since Ive been in bama, a Lot of history there, and those men were among the finest Aviators to ever fly over the skies of Europe.
