But no hydro's at all, I thought you were totally committed to it..anyways I am glad you changed your mind, these cards have vapor chambers and run cool enough, thats why they are so good.

I'm sure the current cooling is fine if you have slot spacing; but, when you bunch these cards up you run into cooling problems; usually, the card that is in the middle causes the problem.

BTW; it looks like a nice setup. What would be the total cost?

After I part out the comp i have and get everything all said and done i estimate it to be about 3.6k

Its the truth. Benches show the phenom x6 is actual compeition for bulldozer. They have ex amd engineers running around talking about why this happened and how it could have been better.

Probably because they couldnt afford to delay it any longer. Its a decent product and it will sell but. Its way over priced for the performance. Its worth no more than 200 bucks. The 16 core server versions will be where its at. The other thing is windows 7 isnt optimized for the arch. Windows 8 might take better advantage of it.

16 core server version? Whoa.
Don't act surprised: their Magny-Cours processors (8-core & 12-core for G34) are low-clock but obviously have a lot of cores. Rain: do you know if the server version is drop-in compatible or is it another new socket?

The processor that I bought I'm selling over priced 360 to a idiot that can't wait. 9 series fx chips come out in December rain that will shut ure ass up
As far as my six core goes it will be put in the saber until release of the 9 series 3.8

LOL whats funny is your trying to shut me up. Shut up the majority of AMD fan boys that are crying. AMD failed to beat their previous generation in most areas. I would rather have a Phenom X6. It was an option when i was building my current machine.

Id love to have a 16 core bulldozer lol. I could run folding@home on 8 cores 24/7 and have the rest for everything else. Bulldozer is paired cores with shared execution resources its not a true 8 core. Once operating systems task schedulers and threading is optimized to the architecture. I think we will see some performance increases.

One would hope the last service pack of windows 7 along with some bios updates will help.

I saw this earlier but was at work. Off the top of my head i didnt know you can look it up lol.

Fuck you I knew I would hear it!

Hear what, what did i say this week? lol. You shoulda came on teamspeak!!

I just dont often hear people saying Oh im gonna buy something that might perform a bit worse than what I have.

So whats going on with dark are you selling him anything still?

Bottom line Willis has a good idea here, spend less on the CPU and save the money for the better video cards. The CPU he is using will perform just as good as the I7's for gaming once he overclocks it. The Tri Sli 580 is really where the money is at and should be. And he will have the bes system here, so more power to ya!

LOL damn you just dissed your best friend balls. All he needs is another video card right? Thought he was buying yours. Anyways you know in turn overclock the i7.

No doubt supra

You dont even answer questions which is why i never asked the important one :p
